April 13, 2026 - Magdeburg University Medical Center (UMMD) is the first institution in Saxony-Anhalt to implement innovative software that generates synthetic CT images from MRI data. The new technology improves radiation therapy planning and enhances the quality of oncological care. With this initiative, UMMD is sending a clear signal regarding the use of state-of-the-art medical technology in everyday clinical practice.
